Lubricating Your Car

Lubricating your car is a must to maintain the good running performance of your vehicle. Grease, motor oils and other lubricants are essential to your automotive because they reduce friction especially on moving surfaces of your car. By reducing friction, the heat is also reduced that is why they are also called as "coolants." The use of lubricants also prevents the formation of rust, corrosion and wear and tear in your engine. There are different types of motor oil, namely the synthetic oils, synthetic blend oils and the conventional oils. Each has unique characteristics.

The synthetic blend oil is designed to achieve performance between conventional oil and synthetic oil. Conventional oils are refined crude oils. They consist of unwanted elements such as waxes and sulphur. Synthetic oils are the result of complex process of various chemical compounds using high performance additives. They are also widely used in developing countries for a number of reasons, including improved overall engine performance, low oil consumption and faster starting.
